O Lord God, Creator of all. Stretch forth your divine hand to guard and protect our Country. Preserve it from material and spiritual harm. May there be peace with the neighbouring countries and with all the nations of the world. Help its people to bear each others burden and live in harmony with one another and to solve their disputes amicably. Endow the rich with the compassionate heart that in their plenty they may not neglect the poor. Provide the poor with daily bread. Favour the workmen with good health and the students with a mind to study. Give wisdom and tact to its leaders especially when they have difficult decisions to make and give them courage and strength to adhere to what is right, true and honest. Dear lord, lead this country of ours to progress and prosperity and keep it steadfast in its faith in you.

O God, You are Truth and the Origin of all knowledge. Bless our studies which we consecrate to you. Enlighten our minds; strengthen our memories. And direct our wills towards what is right. Grant us to seek the truth always and make us truly wise.

O God, the infinite wisdom and the source of all knowledge. Grant that we may remember what we have learnt. We offer You, our work and endeavour, our failure and successes. Forgive us our short comings and give us the courage to follow always the part of truth.
